Hello from beautiful Saratoga!  For today's outfit, I'm wearing Prairie Underground "Your Orbit" in cream (again).  I wore it last month with pink jeans.  Today I paired it with simple black leggings. 

Necklace:  Chain bought from Free Wheel Pottery in Woodstock.  It's sterling silver, but the pendant is a faux David Yurman bought in FL.  David Yurman's signature style is the yellow & white gold combo.  I must say the chain is so much more stunning in person.

Happy Birthday Mom! You are my style icon. Today I'm off to the annual NYS Speech Convention.  One very important thing that I keep in mind when packing for this event is that the rooms we're in for our seminars are always FREEZING, so I have to dress warm, regardless of the weather, which is going to be cool anyway.  I'm only bringing 1 pair of shoes, trying to pack light, which is always a challenge for me. For today's outfit, I stole the color combo idea from an Ann Taylor ad.

Good morning.  Today is kind of like Friday for me.  Tomorrow through Saturday I'm going to the NYS Speech-Language-Hearing Association's Convention in Saratoga to get my annual CEUs.  I'll post my outfits from the convention.  So today's outfit...

Jacket:  Loft.  It's black.  I thought it was navy blue when I first bought it, but once I had it next to something navy, I knew it was black.  I love this jacket, it's a little bit unexpected & paired with a pencil skirt, it's very Mad Men-esque.  www.loft.com

Hey-lo.  Just wanted to do a quick follow-up to yesterday's outfit, as a colleague/friend said I should (JS) - the sweater shedded all over my navy pants & it was annoying.  I used masking tape to take it off, twice !  FYI.
So today I'm wearing a new to me but "pre-owned" pair of ivory pants I bought down in FL at a consignment shop.  I had been on the hunt for a pair of ivory pants & I found them.  I had to have them hemmed, but I think it was worth it.

Sweater:  Verve bought at Marshalls in FL on clearance.  I have never heard of this brand.  I bought this to wear on the plane & it was so cozy - how pretty is the color by the way?  Couldn't find a website, the one I found was for organic yoga clothing, & I don't think that is right... www.marshalls.com
Pants:  The Limited bought at a consignment store in FL for $15, but I did have them hemmed for 20, so I guess they're really $35. However they fit perfectly now & have a lining, so I can wear them in the winter & early spring.  I also think they are the perfect ivory color.  www.thelimited.com

Good Morning.  I just want to take a moment to acknowledge the loss of an amazing musician that Woodstock & the world has suffered.  Levon Helm passed away yesterday.  I've spent many a "Midnight Rambles" at Levon's studio, moreso when my husband & I were first dating.  He will always hold a special place in my heart.
