Inspired By

I got the idea for this oufit from Lucky Magazine.  Their version was for a date night, I made mine for daytime.  I already had every piece, except for the necklace & earrings, which I got on sale.  I don't have red pumps (not that I'd wear them to work) nor red boots, but I still accented my outfit with red accessories,  and added black tights to keep warm, check it out:

Matchy-MatchStix

I saw this shrug in my closet & thought it was time to wear it.  Perfect timing with a little bit of "warmer" winter weather coming.  The blue pants are a great contrast to the brown shirt; the greens & blues in the necklace bring the top & pants together nicely & adds a little something more interesting to the overall outfit.

Military Duds

This faux wrap dress is a great versatile piece.  I can dress it up or down.  I threw a military style jacket over it & wore reptile-ish tights to add some edge.  The necklaces add a little pizzazz and compliment the golden tones in the bag & boots.

Bold

The dreary days of snow melting, mud, & fog is making me crave color.  I've worn this shirt a few times on the blog & I can't get enough of it.  I love pairing it with neutral colors to add some pop, or with another bold color, such as these pants, to create a bold colorful look.  The gray booties tone it down a bit; the necklaces & bag tie it all together.

Hot Pink, Teal, & Brown. Oh My!

Being that it's winter, I wanted to brighten things up a bit with some color.  I added a brown belt, tights, & boots to balance out the brightness of the skirt & top; the necklaces pull-out both the color of the skirt & the brown of the belt.
